Cookies & Analytics

Slate uses a small amount of browser storage to work, and Google Analytics to measure usage.
Essential storage
We use your browser’s local storage to keep your favorites, settings, fantasy teams and bet slips on your device, and Firebase uses storage to keep you signed in. These are needed for the app to work and aren’t used for tracking.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
GA uses cookies (such as _ga) to count visits and see which features are used. It collects pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. We don’t send your name, email or bets to Google Analytics, and we don’t use it for advertising. Google’s use is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choice
You can turn analytics off at any time. It applies to this browser only:
You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out add-on. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as an analytics opt-out.
